Overview:
A significant volume of global production comes from older mature or “brown field” assets. It is not always easy to make the case for capital investment in new tools and systems in these assets.
The presentation shows, using the Nelson asset in the UK sector of the North Sea, how by installing a set of “Smart” IT tools on top of an existing instrumentation and data acquisition architecture and most critically changing people’s working processes it is possible to realise value without a major capital investment. Topics covered include:
